Yes you're right "Honest Expert" I can't recall much discussion on mattresses. My wife and i were sleeping together on a perfectly good queen size bed when I first started CPAP a year ago and I decided that I would start the CPAP treatment by sleeping on a mattress on the tiled floor of my home office.

Well you guessed it, I'm still sleeping here on the floor and the mattress had well and truly seen better days when I pulled it out of the shed a year ago. It looks like I will be staying on the floor in the office and am thinking of getting something new to sleep on. There isn't room for a bed. Whatever I sleep on has to be picked up during the day when I use the office for work.

I was even thinking of a futon but have never seen one so have no idea what they are like. I'm 54 and about 30lbs overweight. Being in Australia I may not recognise brand names anyway even if you use them but perhaps you could give me some general advice.

TIA
