Pillowtop matress causes sleep problems.
Both my wife and I noticed that when we went on vacation our feet did not hurt in the morning, even when sleeping on the hard ground, however when we sleep on our super duper top of the line orthopedic pillowtop matress they do. Talking to my chiropractor about this and he said several of his patients had mentioned similar problems with pillowtop matresses.
Has anyone else had similar problems?
Our feet hurt because of perif. neuropathy. Apparently the pillowtop matress makes this worse by somehow cutting down on the ammount of O2 in the blood. This sounds like a side effect of sleep apnea to me. Does it follow that the pillowtop making the apnea worse? Or worse yet does the pillowtop cause the neuropathy by limiting the ammount of blood and consequently O2 to the feet during the night?
