I sleep all night but I just can't wake up.

I fall asleep right away, sleep all night, but it takes me over an hour to wake up. I go to sleep at 10pm, and try to get up at six. When I don't set my alarm, I wake up around 10AM. I can't beleive that I need 12 hours of sleep. I'm 26 years old. I would think 8 hours should be enough. As a child I talked in my sleep every night, and sometimes still do. I've also been known to sleep walk, kick, swing my arms, and even bite. I've been through one sleep study, but they only said that I startle easily. I've also been told that I seem to not be breathing at all. I then spend the day tired on top of it all. Does anyone have any idea what could bee going on? When I was in high school I jumped right out of bed when my alarm went off. I was never so tired too. Thanks for any help.
