Too much sleep

You are not alone. I too often sleep for very long periods sometimes 20hours plus if I manage to sleep through my alarm and nobody wakes me up.

When I do awaken i usually suffer from confused arousal whereby I am not really coherrant until at least 1 hour later and stagger around the house. If i sit down I am back to sleep.

Don't worry if this is occassional but if it continues i suggest you see your doctor. I had a sleep test and discovered I have excessive daytime sleepiness cause unknown. I have been given anti-depressants and dexamphetamine to keep me awake it really helps.
