Agree with Honest Expert ~ many of the symptoms you mention (including depression, high blood pressure and exhaustion) could be directly connected to sleep apnea. When I first started with CPAP I was really achy, and concluded that because I was finally getting real, restful sleep, I wasn't moving around; I would wake in the same position I fell asleep in. (I still do, but my aches have been much improved by a foam mattress topper.)
And your extended sleep time could be due to a huge sleep debt. It's taken me two years to start feeling consistently better, with many, many small fixes in between to improve the comfort and function of PAP therapy.
Also, wondering if your hangover feeling is related to an incorrect pressure setting. I woke up with a headache and thick brain fog almost every single day for several years. Once the most effective pressure was determined, the headaches immediately stopped (they were caused by the low oxygen content of my blood from the times I stopped breathing), and the brain fog receded fairly quickly.
Don't give up! Check the sleep apnea forum. Again, agree with Honest Expert that there are many people with extensive knowledge on that forum who will be happy to chime in with encouragement and suggestions.
