Honest Expert.....Many thanks for your excellent and very informative response. I think you're an expert on more than mattresses. But speaking of mattresses...I've always wanted a water bed(the new motionless type that looks like a regular mattress) and got one last Nov. and am very saddened that I may have to give it up. I have been experiencing back problems (not enough support I guess) and I do feel that it helped me sleep a little better. I always felt that since we started life in a water sack and our bodies are more than 75% water, etc. etc. water was important to humans so why not sleep on it? Oh well, you know what they say about making plans...
