I have had something like that happen to me but it only happens 3-4 times a year the last being last night. I am just drifting off to sleep when I am suddenly half asleep with the most intense noise in my ears. It is quite frightening when it first happens. It will happen a few times in a row most of the time. Des anyone know what it is?
