Curious about sternum popping!!!

I saw a posting from Jon April 12, 2000 concerning sternum pain and stretchung that led to popping of the sternum. I have this same condition and am wondering how to eliminate the problem. Any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
