I took it for about 2 years. It was a Godsend at first - I would fall asleep within a reasonable time instead of bouncing around for hours. I slept with only about 3-4 wakeups, and went back to sleep afterwards, instead of 10 wakeups and wandering around the house for hours. A few times I actually slept all night! Because I wasn't so terribly tired, I was a much happier and more functional person during the daytime.

However, I kept getting spacier and spacier - couldn't find things, would walk into a room to get something and forget what I was looking for, etc. OK, I'm forgetful anyway.......but it got to an extreme when I was driving somewhere and all of a sudden couldn't figure out where I was and where I was going - just for an instant - and then one time when I got dizzy and almost blacked out, again for an instant.

I stopped the Trazadone, and haven't had any of the disorientation since. I started it again, spaced out a few times, and stopped it. I don't want to scare you away from the Trazadone - it worked wonderfully for quite a while - but if you find yourself disoriented, the Trazadone might be the cause.

Now I'm trying Alluna - wish me luck!
