Check the Sleepnet pages for info on sleepwalking to find some things that can trigger episodes, and precautions to take if they are occurring.

Being tired makes it worse, and you should get your prescription (and over-the-counter) medications reviewed, if any.

Older people's sleep patterns change - they spend less time in deep sleep phases. They are also more apt to be using various medications, or multiple meds that can cause interactions, or have assorted aches and pains that make sleep lighter. (what is "lazy legs, anyhoo?)

You need to get yourself to a sleep doctor, sir. Or a tumble down those concrete stairs might end up with something worse than bloody toes....
