excessive sleep

I have a "BIG" problem with my sleep habits. I can never seem to get enough sleep. If left alone with no physical wake up, I will sleep up to 20 hours at a stretch. No matter what amount of sleep I get I wake up confused, dazed, crabby and uncoordinated. I am exhausted thoughout the day and go to bed at night exhausted, knowing that phone calls, 3 alarm clocks, a dog and outside noise will not wake me up. HELP!!!!
