Posted by jay on January 12, 2002 at 11:31:53:Hello,
I have the following and wondered if it is a syndrome, separate issues, or? However, the first problem is chronic, since early childhood and I can't seem to find information about it.I rock in my sleep, on my side, back and forth. I am not at all aware of this movement, others tell me about it and they cannot sleep in same bed with me. Since I can remember, I would rock before going to and during sleep. As an adult, it occurs only after I have fallen asleep. I consider myself emotionally healthy with no childhood traumas with only a history of head concussion with associated fractured skull.
I also have intermittent problems with:
1. Sleep paralysis.
2. Audible hallucinations of clicks/claps/shouts just upon falling asleep that sound "real" precipitating full wakefulness or startle reactions.I suffer from fibromyalgia and frequent fatigue for approximately eight years now and have read theory it could be related to sleep disorder?
Any information is appreciated. Thank you
