I need advise regarding sleepwalking, please help!

Posted by Sophia on January 13, 2002 at 07:44:11:

Im 30 years old. When I was 19 I started sleepwalking and only did it a few times and it was nothing serious. Now, after 10 years it has started up again all of a sudden. This morning I found all my bird feeders outside full, which I must have did durring the night sleepwalking. I also wake up with a terrable upset stomach, which is making me wonder if im eating bad things while im sleepwalking. Im worried because im going outside now durring these episodes.
Ive read up on all I can find about sleepwalking on the web and im just wondering if anyone here has any suggestions about what I should do from here. It scares me that I could do something harmfull in my sleep, there is a main highway just beyond my back yard and it freaks me out to think that I could be walking in traffic. I also worry about my pets, I dont want to harm them by any means. Should I have my husband remove all harmfull object from the house and put new locks on the doors? Im confused and could really use some suggestions!! When is it time to seek help from a doctor?

Thank you all so much,

Sophia
