Posted by dreamtoofast on January 16, 2002 at 10:38:32:I have read several posts from individuals that complain of similar symptons that I have as well (feeling like they dream all the time) however I have found that not only do I wake up at night(for instance to go the bathroom) but also after a presumed normal nights sleep and my alarm goes off, i'm still dreaming. BUT ALSO I try to catch a catnap during the day if I can, and as a guage for the amount of time that goes by, I will have the tv on and a program that I know is a half hour long will still be going and I will have fallen asleep intensely and fast and been dreaming or had a complete and intense dream and wake up remembering the whole thing knowing I have only been asleep for minutes. It isnt necessarily in front of something noisy. I can be at the computer, notice the time in relation to a deadline I must meet, get sucked into sleep fast and intensely, then wake up 10, 15,20 minutes later and knowing my dream I just had, not blips or vague images but like a story with a plot that unfolds and requires time to be acted out in thought. First of all I didnt think you could enter REM until you had been asleep for a couple hours, secondly why the intenseness of the dreaming? Thanks for any input.
