Hi, Tami! The Black Cohosh seemed to work at first (maybe it was all in my head), but not now. A friend on another board recommended it to me. It is used for menopause mostly, which I do not have. Anyway, I sweat every day, and some days are worse than others. I'm calling my GYN today to see about getting my hormones checked. (My primary doctor just doesn't think there is anything wrong.) Also, I'm going to call a sleep disorder clinic. Yesterday, I slept 10 hrs.! (I guess it's because I didn't sleep so good the day before.) My husband had to get up early, and I never heard his alarm clock. That is so un-like me. He said I was like a dead person. But, you know, for once, I don't remember any dreams. Usually I dream a lot. Maybe some day we will get this all figured out. I hope Sandman and Sandmama let us continue, because this is so helpful. I am scheduled to get the fasting insulin test that Wonkawoman suggested before, but I haven't gone yet. I just don't think it's my insulin. I tried the low-carb diet thing, and it doesn't affect my night sweats like I hoped it would. I just don't think my problem is an insulin problem. I'm anxious to hear how things go with your internist. Talk to ya soon! Beth
