Stanford University has recently published a paper on "sleep sex", which contained a number of case studies about people who moaned in their sleep. My girlfriend experienced the more violent version of this phenomenon but I had no recollection of my behaviour upon waking. I'm incredibly relieved now that the condition has been identified (it's basically caused by interrupted sleep patterns). Check out the following:
