Night Sweats

Posted by SadieSue on April 30, 2002 at 12:24:52:

I have been suffering from night sweats for several months now, however my problem is rather unique. I find that if my room is cool (for instance last night it was 67 degrees) and I don't have enough clothing on, that I will wake up with night sweats. My problem seems rather easy to resolve, however I think it is a bit ridiculous that I have to sleep in several layers of clothing, a fleece bathrobe and several blankets and a comforter to AVOID having night sweats. I have tried different sorts of bedding and pajamas, using cotton and even a feather blanket and nothing helped. If the temperature is warmer is doesn't affect me, however if it gets cooler at night then I have to wear an insane amount of clohting to bed. I am 30 years old, so menopause is not a possibility. I have been on loestrin for about 7 years and have never had any problems and my weight is normal.
Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
