mattress--calling Honest Expert

Posted by corkyb on May 01, 2002 at 17:12:56:

Hi,
I think I need to buy a new mattress. I have had lower back pain and neck problems for many many years. Nine years ago I spent $900 on a mattress and my lower back got much better. Well the bed is sunken in the middle and my back problems have returned with a vengeance. I wake up with it and it gets very prounounced if I have to stand even for three minutes at a time. Can you please help me choose a mattress? I have just heard of Kingsdown and wonder if you could comment on them? Are they really better than Sealy, SImmons, serta? THe other one I am considering is Temper Pedic. I am concerned about the heat issue though,,,,,,,being too warm. Also, I have difficulty turning a mattress on any kind of regular basis as I cannot do it alone and do not have help to do it. Does the tempurpedic need to be turned? And where do they sell supple pedic? I have just heard about them on here, nowhere else. thanks for any help you can provide me.
Corky
