I am a twenty eight year old female and I, too, am a sleep moaner...a chronic case (every time I sleep.) It wouldn't really bother me, except it's very disruptive to my husband and anyone else trying to sleep around me. I try to wake myself up to stop & it's hard to get good rest when I'm worried about not moaning. My husband tells me it happens most when I sleep on my back. I basically breath OUT through my vocal chords and I have no idea why. I would love some info on how to STOP..it's kind of embarrassing. (a dying llama is a pretty good description!)
