Random Night Sweats

Posted by blur on July 11, 2002 at 18:42:36:

I am a 36 year old male and one morning I woke up sweating so much it was as though I had showered, and without drying off, climbed back into bed. I was completely without energy then and throughout the entire day. I have never had this experience before. The sweating probably lasted about 2 hours where it soaked through the pillows and all the bed clothes. I smoke and had cocktails the night before. I did not eat anything or do anything out of the ordinary for me. Anyone else have this happen to them? Anyone know why this would happen out of the blue like this?
