I've always had problems with my sleeping patterns and am usually tired because I don't sleep through the night.
However, I recently have been told by my significant other that my heart rate while sleeping, even in deep sleep, is, on average, 104-110 bpm, quite often even faster, to the point you can see my heart beating above my left breast. My breathing during sleep is quite irregular, and ranges from quick, shallow breaths to very heavy, labored, strained breathing. I do not stop breathing at any point during sleep, thank goodness.
I do have severe allergies and bronchial-asthma, both of which I take medication for. I do not suffer from sleep apnea.
Any thoughts? My SO now watches me sleep and monitors me when he notices I'm having problems. I've been tested by my doctdor with an EKG, stress test and echo and there is nothing wrong with my heart. In fact, my rhythm is very steady, strong and normal, and even in my sleep, my heart beat is strong and beats in a regular rhythm, just very fast.
