Cant Wake UP

Posted by Meri Cant Wake UP on August 03, 2002 at 21:44:45:

First thanks to all that have responded! With all that I am going through with my boyfriend, and feeling so alone, and like I am an outcast, or that it is all in my head, it is great to know that there are people out there like me, and that are willing to lend suggestions!
I have been considering another sleep study, because my last was normal, and yet I still wake up non refreshed, no matter how long or how short I sleep, and second I can not wake up no matter what I try! I do think that I might have been misdiagnosed with Fibromialgia, because my sleep study was normal. I do have all the points, but according to the study I do reach all the levels of sleep. I am so confused.
Me and my boyfriend are constantly fighting about this, he thinks the only reason I sleep is to escape, and I can not get him to understand this is not the case! Any suggestions are greatly appriciated!
If I could just prove to myself and my boyfriend that this is not a choice, I would feel 99% better, and then to get treatment would clear up the other 1%.
