Wow, I just happened to surf on in looking for help with my "problem" that I thought no one else had and I found you! I have no idea how to describe it either really and am sick of people telling me I'm just dreaming b/c I know that I am half awake. I don't have the "dreams" as often as you do but I have had quite a few. Sometimes I'll feel that there is a party in my room and I have to sit up in my bed and be a part of this party or I am being rude. I was a cheerleader in high school and one time I felt that I was at practice (could see all the other girls and my coach in my room) and if I didn't sit up in bed and move my arms I would get yelled at. I am a lifeguard this summer and just last night I saw kids and the pool that I work at. I felt that if I didn't sit up and pay attention to the people I would get in trouble or something bad would happen. I've never been able to control the situations and try to turn on a light to make them go away. I never stand up, I just have to sit up in bed and keep my eyes open. I am positive I am semi awake b/c sometimes I talk to these "people" too but they never talk back to me. I don't know what's wrong and I've never heard of anyone having the same problem. Well, maybe someone will see this and be able to help us b/c it sounds like we have a similar affliction.
