I own a king size mattress with 6" of memory foam- I weigh 230lbs. Thicker pads are usually preferable for heavier people. I tried the Temper-pedic but did not feel that it gave enough support. The Supplepedic felt just right (for me). Read all of Honest Expert's posts as he covers many aspects about memory foam as well as other types of mattresses.
