Au Contraire. This sounds like classical Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome. The very loud snoring is typical of OSA (though some have OSA without snoring). So is her exhaustion and also her "diorientation."
Note that OSA is a life-threatening disease. It greatly increases one's risk of heart attack and stroke. Also, there's the increased risk of a vehicular, household, or industrial accident.
She needs a sleep test.
