I can't give you any advice but I can stand beside you. I get up several times a week and there have been those occasions of a couple times a night. I'm by no means over weight and I mostly crave chocolate or cakey type food and apple or banana is out of the question and like you I fully awake I know I don't need to eat but boy i can't stop myself. Though I have found this occurs mostly when a have a night full of dreams and each time I wake up durring the night I fall back to sleep and right back into the dream. the only way I can break the dream cycle is to get up and eat something. Its the dreaming that I feel may be the real problem for me. If I wasn't waken by the dream I don't think I would go eat.

Sincerely Understanding
