Thanks for the advice Bill. I find I'm pretty meticulous with my bedding - I'm just a sucker for the smell of fresh sheets, but this usually starts before I go to bed. It seems that once I start mentally winding down for the day, my body decides to act up. I've also never been an "allergic" type, not that that necessarily negates the possibility, but if it were a reaction to dust mites in the bedding then I would have thought that I would find other similar things as irritating (ie. pollens, dust, cleaning agents..).

It is something I will take under consideration though - the body never loses it's ability to surprise me, so you never know.
