Not all dreams are meaningful, but frequent and disturbing dreams can often be attributed to stress in your waking life--stress that you may or may not be aware of. If you can figure out what's triggering your nightmares and deal with it, the nightmares will probably go away on their own. A good first step might be to keep a dream journal--keep it by your bedside, and write the details of your nightmare down while they're still fresh in your mind. If you send me a transcript of your dream, either here or via e-mail, I would be glad to help you decipher it.
