Man what do I have....

I can't find much info regarding my problem. I have no problem going to sleep but once I'm sleep that's it. i can't hear alarm clocks, doorbells, phones, pagers, nothing. My family has to literally come into the room nd shake, punch, kick pour water on me etc....I have had this problem since grade school now I'm 28. i have to get help but the two sleep labs I contacted said they don't offer service to help that problem but couldn't give me any lead(Without a expensive visit I guess0 but I'd like to get ANY kinda help i could get. So if anyone has any idea what i can do or where to go it would be greatly appreciated...
