self harming during sleep

Posted by Su on December 10, 2002 at 08:42:48:

Hi, I'm 21 years old and I suspect I harm myself while sleeping. It only happens once or twice a month, but it's freaky. Once I woke up with bleeding scratches on my belly and breasts, then I had a slight burn on my leg, other scratches on my arm, and last week I woke up with my lip piercing removed (it's very unlikely to be an accident). I don't think I am sleepwalking as I live with my boyfriend and he's never noticed anything.
Does anyone know what is going on with me?
Thank you for your help
