There are any number of different causes that may be robbing you of restorative sleep. It sounds like it's caught up to you rather quickly if it's only been 6 weeks, and you're already having problems with your daily routine.

You're best bet is to get in touch with a doctor that specializes in sleep medicine. Your family doctor should be able to give you a referral.

Also, there is a sleep test on this website that may help you figure out what's going on, based on your symptoms. Sometimes the cause becomes obvious when you know when you know what to look for.
