boyfriend wets and walks

Posted by jane on December 18, 2002 at 13:32:21:

My boyfriend (who is 30) sleep walks almost every night. Usually at about an hour after he has fallen asleep. I dont mind the walking, but every night he think our bedroom is the toilet and he is wetting all over the place. I have to stay awake till he sleep walks and try to direct him to the toilet (which is downstairs) and occassionally I'm lucky and he goes, more often than not I'm unlucky and he ends up urinating over either me or something that wasn't designed for that particular use like the bed, me, or clean clothes, or my daughters things. He drinks alot of alcohol, about 15 cans a night, and I know this is the cause of it because he stopped drinking for a month and didn't sleep walk or wet. Just lately he hasnt even done the walking bit, he just wet the bed. It's not psychological. Has anyone else ever experienced this? or am i the only one suffering the 2nd hand effects?
Thanks.
