Well, Scott, I have not the slightest idea.
Whjy don't you type in the name of one of the companies marketing Tonic water - Canada Dry is one, I believe, into the search space on your browser. Locate their home page and send them an e-mail asking then whe why and wherefore of this?
When you get an answer, please post it back here so we can all know the answer.
