Need some sleep desperately

Posted by JennyS on July 31, 1999 at 22:20:14:

I've been a RLS sufferer all my life (my dad was too)-- like others my childhood doctor put it down to "growing pains". My symptoms seem to be worsening as I move through menopause. The last few weeks have been hell. My doc put me on HRT (for the menopause) and prescribed Trazodone to help me sleep. The Trazodone is really weird -- I take one, feel really drowsy (hurrah) go to bed and, bingo, RLS again... can't sleep. Anyone out there know anything about Trazodone and are there any of you whose symptoms have seemed to worsen through menopause.
