Posted by Vinnie on August 05, 1999 at 22:05:55:Experiencing strong electrical "jolts" mostly centered in the center of my chest during the first and second stage of sleep. It happens many times each night while drifting off to sleep. They are very strong and feel like a bolt of lightning hits me right as I'm most relaxed, bolting me upright in an instant. Mostly happens directly below the bottom of my breastbone, in the diaphram area.It's been happening everynight for a year. What might this be?
