Cindy
You are not a freak. You described exactly what I feel when I am not taking medication. For years I have known I have Mult. Sleep Disorders, but did not know RLS was one of them. I had a second opinion and it was then I discovered I had RLS. In the past I had been asked if my legs would tingle or if I wanted to constantly move them. I never thought about having to move them on the sheets. I think of it as finding a cool spot on the sheets. Now I am taking Mirapex (.500 mg) 1 hour before bedtime. The need to move my legs on the sheet is much less to none. I sleep for solid hours almost every night.
You are not nuts. The more you learn about RLS the better chance you have to find the treatment that will work for you.
Good Luck
