You say that you do not feel any pain. Do you feel an extremely nervous feeling in you legs? This is how I feel. I constantly move my legs because of the terrible nervous feeling. This is almost always when I am trying to sleep or relax. Many times it gets so bad that I get up and do very strenuous exercizes. This give relief for just a couple of minute and then that very nervous uncomfortable feeling returns. It is impossible to lay still. I believe this is hereditary as my father had the same problem. I have heard it described in many different way but I always feel like very nervous
