I was just wondering if you have sleep apnea?
Have you ever had a sleep study done?
Just wondering....it sounds like some type of sleep disorder along with your RLS. My biggest complaint when I went to the doctor was I was falling asleep anytime, anywhere. I was falling asleep on the drive to work, and the drive home. I only live 15 mins from work and that is not normal. In the middle of the day and after work was the worst time for me. What you are experiencing sounds so similar to me. Your right in that it's too dangerous to be operating a car in that state. That's what drove me to seek help and I found out about my sleep apnea. It's just a thought. I wish you well.
