You ought to drop everything but the ma huang and if you don't have any other health problems up your dosage to the 100 mg. level during the day. I take three doses, one @ 6 am, one @ 11 am, last one at 3 pm. This combined with a good 1 hour exercise program daily and for the first time in 20 years I do not suffer from RLS at night - I go right to sleep within 5 minutes. I do have still the daily RLS symptons, but that's no problem, I just keep moving. As long as I can SLEEP I'm fine. It took about a week for this this start working but I've been doing this now for 6 months with no increase in dosage, no side effects, and no lessening of effectiveness. I know ma huang is a stimulant, but so is Ritalin - the drug used for hyperactive children. RLS is probably related to a low dopamine level and ephedrine seems to raise that. Anyway, it works for me after NOTHING else would, but I wouldn't advise upping the dosage while on some other medication, I do not take anything else. I'm alert and focused during the day but I zonk out when I hit the pillow. Good luck!
