I took Mirapex for PLMS and it caused severe insomnia. The druggist says this happens to about 10% of those who take it. It may be doing something similar to you, disrupting your sleep even if you're not aware of it. Perhaps you should try Sinemet (although it often also has side effects) or Permax.
The combination of sleep apnea, RLS and/or PLMS seems to be quite common. In my case treating the PLMS enabled me to do without the CPAP.
I do hope you don't HAVE to drive when you feel that fatigue. Good luck in finding a solution.
