Yes, it sounds like restless legs syndrome (RLS) or it may be periodic leg movement syndrome (PLMS). Both have to do with moving your legs during your sleep. RLS happens more frequently...such as mine that happens consistently all night long. PLMS happens in intervals throughout the night. Just out of curiosity do you move or fijit during the day?
I jiggle my legs all day long or shuffle my feet around and drive my coworkers crazy, especially in meetings! Anyway, yours sounds like you need to contact a doctor and get an evaluation. In my case my primary physician had to refer me off to a neurologist for review. I currently do have sleep apnea but also RLS. I have been on medication now for a couple weeks for RLS and it's been working great. When your not moving your legs at night you actually sleep sounder.
