Hey Vinnie. do you have any numbness in your arms when this happening?? I am almost 3o years old now, and I experienced the same sort of thing, but only when I was sleeping at work, in my chair, with my head down on the desk..I used to work the graveyard shift. But, one night, my arms started numbing, and then it felt like my whole body was numbing....(I think the rest of the body may have been to being really scared, thinking i was having a heart attack, or something)...and my throat started feeling like it was closing, like a lack of oxygen.....I went to the hospital that night (I am a very healthy person), and they felt it may have been a gastric-reflux syndrome......I was checked out the next day, and it was gastric reflux......They put me on medication, and it seems to help....but i dont use the meds how i am supposed to, because it gives me really bad guess, and also, just because i just forget to sometimes.....but when i'm on the meds, this doesnt happen.......but, when im off the meds, or not taking them like i should, i still have this problem........anyways, i dont know if this is the same type of problem, but just thought i would relay it......it might not hurt to get an ex-ray, like i did........i think its called an upper G.I. (gastro intestinal)......I guess it starts eating away your esophagus too, if not taken care of. let me know what you find out......
