Valerian root has worked well for me all except a few times. I am not sure why it didn't work then but I read somewhere that it can sometimes intensify the problem that one is trying to overcome. My pharmacist has RLS and told me that he helps his by elevating his legs above his chest. He claims the issue is poor circulation and blood pooling in the lower portion of the legs. I have tried this elevating idea and I think he is on to something...check it out! Hope, it helps! :)
