Thanks all for your nice and informative
replys. Again I am hesitant to start taking
a medication on a day to day basis and would
much prefer to take something that I could take
on an as needed basis at this time. When or if
things worsen would be when I would decide
to take something like Mirapex. Again the expense
of such a medication is yet another reason I would
not want to start on something like Mirapex. Also
since it is the "new kid" on the block so to speak
I do not feel there has been enough years of investigation with the overall "long term" usage of such a medication. As in when does augmentation
occur later on? What long term side effects does it have on other organs in the body and so on. If
I was completely unfunctional with this that would be different, but obviously I have had this horrible nerve racking disease undiagnosed for 19 years and had to cope with it without medication.

Also because I do have epilepy and medications like valium and others are also used to control
seisures it makes much more sense to me to be
on one medication that would control both disorders than to add yet another daily medication
to my day to day life.

One other note, ANY and I do mean any medicine that lists nausea as a possible side effect, almost certainly will and does happen to me. I am
very sensitive gastroally sp???, therefore I am also not willing to take something that is going to make me nauseous in trade for stopping jittering, unnerving legs.

I think for me kava kava and valerian, with some
camomile tea would be the best alternative for
most nights and is obviously non habit forming and is not an expensive chemical.

Thanks so much for your opinions and assistance
in this very bothersome matter.
