I've been taking Ativan (lorazepam) for a little over a year for an undiagnosed sleep disorder. I take 2 mg at bedtime each night and it has been working very well for me - No strange side-effects and I feel fine when I wake up in the morning. My doctor plans to keep me on it as lomg as it seems to be helping me sleep.
Why did your doctor prescribe it for you? It's suppossed to be for anxiety and can be used to treat some seizure disorders.
