I have had a nervous "tick" since about the age of 11 years old. I have seen various doctors about this problem and have encountered many different diagnosis. The first being the "nervous tick" even though I have this affliction when I'm not nervous about anything, a mild case of Tourette's syndrome, and a habit which I will grow out of as I get older (I am now 28 yrs. old and it is not getting any better). The problem is a twitch in my neck which causes my head to "bounce" up and down. You can imagine how embarrassing this can be. I have recently read some information on the effects of pesticides and central nervous system problems. I used to "fog" (walking around with a fogger which contains a pesticide which is heated into a smoke like gas) every weekend at my parents lake home to kill bugs. I did this very often for years. I am wondering if this may have been the cause of my problem and what I might do to treat it. Please let me know what you think. thank you!
