Posted by Pat on June 22, 2000 at 19:29:42:Here's one to consider. Experts believe that low iron counts can cause RLS or make the symptoms worse if it already exists. My iron count just came in at 4 for the Ferritin Level. This is very low so I am on an iron supplement now. Now, here I have RLS and I can't sleep. My iron is low and makes me want to sleep but the RLS and PLMD won't let me sleep. Do you see a vicious cycle here? For all of you sufferers out there, good luck. I hope you find a qualified Neurologist who cares.
