I have similiar problem.I have ahd rsl for about 10 years now. It has always responded well to Parkinsons medications. The last year my RLS has gotten progressively worse, to where it was bothering me even in the day time, I couldn't sit for longer than 15 minutes, or even stand still for very long. Sleep was virtually impossible even with sleep aides. The miraprex was a joke.I finally went to the dr and insisted for on a complete work up. my Ferritin level was 2. I started on oral Iron supplements, but my level can only up to 3 after 6 weeks. I then was started on IM Iron injections. After the third of 5 doses my Rls started to improve and can actually get some rest. However, the whole issue is now complicated by obstructive sleep aPnea, and Have to go back for another sleep study using a CPAP, which is a machine to help me breathe better during sleep. I was told by the doctoer that this will also help the RLS problem.
