"Sinemet" does appear to have more adverse side effects than other helpful medications. "Mirapex" seems to be just as effective with fewer side effects. Discuss with your doctor what drugs are available and how your individual situation factors into the selection. Insurance coverage, cost, allergies, drug interactions with pre-existing prescriptions, and other considerations must be entered into the equation. Best always.
