I was on lorazapam for 2-3 years...recently when my stress decreased, I decided to stop taking it. No one told me to do this gradually....had to come home early from our vacation because I felt like I was going to die. Turned out to be withdrawal from lorazapam. I was so glad I wasn't dying but wish someone had warned me about withdrawal symptoms, etc....could have salvadged our vacation.
